A short walk

I walk down the street
I see a bird.
A mom walking with a child.
A man jogging in the distance,
He’s as fast as the wind.
I pass the park
There’s kids practicing.
They play football
The pigskin is kicked.
It flies
TOUCHDOWN!
I keep walking
I’m free as a bird.
Can go anywhere
Can do anything.
T’was a quick walk
For it didn’t last long.
I saw a lot,
Even though it was
One Short Walk
