little blue

little by little I drift,
away from the sands of sanity to the seas of insanity
curious eyes peer over the rafts edge
murkey blue on one side
bubbling red on the other.
dread of defense.
i am afloat, for some time.
the outline of the sand still in grasp,
until I’m capsized by salty blue
