My Family Is a Tree

My family is a healthy, sturdy tree
Providing vitality,
changing through the years of life.
Dad is the root;
He holds the entire family together.
Without him, life would not exist.
Mom is the trunk,
The main source of the family,
Strong,
Helping us grow bigger and better.
The children are the leaves;
We grow and evolve through life,
But at some point,
We fall off and make our own way.
MY FAMILY IS A TOUGH, HEARTY TREE
