Wonder
I always seem to wonder, perhaps
My life is for souls to touch this
Magnet that is
My
Heart. The task
To learn in
Life, is learning the life
Itself. It is to
Take all the lessons and filter
Everything in it. Only take the things
That matter the most. Something that
You cannot touch
But feel like a
Warmth touching your soul.
When you learn and
You feel, you tend to
Take everything and hold
Onto it like they're the
Last strains
On a rope till
It snaps like a
Pencil. Or a pen
Is all that can
Shape and mold
Life into a feeling
Into
A form.

This poem was inspired by Terrance Hayes' Golden Shovel poem. I used each word from Preface To The Poetry Of W.A Grace by Bill Grace and made it the last word in each sentence if my poem Wonder.
