What does dance mean to me?
Dance is the joy that sets me free
Dance is the love that lets me be
While giving me power entirely.
Dance is a life of music and motion
In which all is beautiful like the sounds of the ocean
In which one’s feelings that have been compressed
Are through movement all expressed.
Souls are set free through the art of dance.
While the rhythm carries them into a trance
Where depth conquers and strength rules all
My passion for dance will never fall.
