I wish I could tell him that he deserves better
But he can’t see past her lies and smeared lip gloss
All he sees is the beautiful girl he fell so in love with all those years ago
He cries himself to sleep every night because he knows that she doesn’t love him nearly as much as he loves her
And while she sleeps in the arms of another man
He dreams of her
