Snowflakes

Snowflakes fall, glistening,

through the air

Gliding from the purple clouds

To earth’s clean face, so bare

But cluttered by the human souls,

Which yearn to fly up in the sky,

No hope to reach their goals.

Yet, seeing snowflakes fall to earth

And cover all with their great girth

The human heart swells

Until it bursts

And even more snowflakes fall to earth
