A Lazy Summer Day...

Boredom...
sometimes fun or just plain dumb.
A lazy summer day...
in a hammock warmed by a beaming ray.
You're wearing a flowing summer dress -
Everything's just faded away - even years of stress.
Your eyes are intent on your book -
Romeo and Juliet.
The soft swaying grass - a sound so fair...
Mosquitoes in the air,
The sound of summer breeze,
Shaded by two willow trees.
Yet all this is simply a daydream of mine -
for in an English class I'm confined.
Where thoughtless words fly
and control simply dies.
