promises
promises mean nothing anymore.
they are just another set of words.
nothing special.
nothing i want to hear.
to everyone around me a promise is like a key.
a key to something they want me to believe.
but what they don't know is that i do not believe anything i hear.
nothing out there will last forever
no matter how many "promises" are made you you.
promises will never be something special to me.
not after so many of them have been broken.
