Panic!
A rage in my thoughts,
A tremble in my hand.
You are my hatred,
But her I will stand.
I stand in the wake
Of what you have done.
You may have harmed me,
But you never won.
"Panic!"
You scream,
As you dance in delight.
You think you've got me,
You think you are right.
"Panic!"
You sing,
In a terrorizing song.
You think you've got me,
But you are dead wrong.
Wrong in your choices,
Wrong in your plans.
You will not kill me,
Never again.
I have grown stronger,
Since my darkest days.
You may still linger,
But you no longer stay.

I was inspired by my anxiety to write this poem. It means a lot to me, and it describes how much I've grown since my anxiety was at its peak.
