Silent Daze
They are silent,
Though shiny and clear as a crystal ball
They can show…
Curiosity…
Anger…
Happiness…
Sadness…
Confusion and Excitement.
They can also hide beneath your lash
Drowning other unpleasant emotions
But I am not a Fortuneteller
They can see lies
They can see truth
They can see hatred
And they can see love at first sight
But I am not a fortuneteller
And they won’t tell me
“I’m sorry”
And they won’t tell me
“I love you”
And they won’t ask me
“To Stay”
And they won’t ask me
‘To say, “Yes, I’ll marry you”’
Your eyes tell me nothing,
But your voice will tell me everything
