It is Time My Child

God saw it was time for you
God saw you and knew it was time
He grasped your hand and told you“come home now my child”
He took you from the ones who were friend and foe
As Watery, tear filled eyes watched you pass
Your small heart stumbled and died
People exclaimed that you were taken from this world so soon
Snuffed out like a dying candle light
A lily choked by weeds
But as days drew on
They found out that God only takes the best home to him
