Getting ready to board,
can't wait to get where we are going toward.
they call our flight,
as dusk turns to night.
we carry our bags up to the plane,
then stuffed them into the overhead with much pain.
next we take off,
with ears popping,
I chew a piece of gum to stop my, ears from throbbing.
as we coast across the sky,
we can see everything low and high.
then we descend to our destination.
I can't wait to start my vacation.
