The trees whisper around her, telling her all their secrets. She's afraid of herself but more afraid of what she knows, soon her hair, covered in snowflakes, will be gone. A sob escapes her throat, but she's already cried her tears.
The snow continues to fall, a vast white blanket. A snowflake brushes her cheek, numb with cold. She looks around at the beauty that surrounds her, and for a moment she's free.

Thanks for reading it, I actually met the girl at the hospital in atlanta, her name was Calli and her hair started falling out so I donated my hair. Calli died the following spring at the age of eleven, so it means a lot to me. She told me about the first time she found out and I decided to make it into a written piece. Sorry I keep going on, I'm just syched someone actually liked it... Peace Out.
