bracing yourself for the cold;
You get too close and your foot gets
soaked.
Looking up slowly watching where the water goes
that touched your foot,
in and out through the channel.

You see it in the pictures
the big rock in the water;
Green on the top with moss going down the side.
It is actually out there in front of you.
The moment can't last,
you start walking back.
Hiking up the hill looking left and
right.

when you fall asleep,
listening to the coyotes howl.
Still in the house
in your bed
There is no boundary for nature.
It is everywhere you are.
