Death is hard, it leaves you with a broken heart,

There she lay in the coffin,
Her hands clenched together
You reach out and touch her hand but all you can feel is the coldness
Her hands are not warm anymore

You stand there and watch them lower the coffin
And all you can do is weep
Weep because she is no more
You can't help but think she is suffocating
And you want to get her out but you can't

My grandmother died.
And I never got the chance today goodbye

My grandmother died and I was really sad. It felt like my whole world had just ended so this poem is all about my late grandma.
