Blue Eyes

As I stare into the black abyss
I long to see those blue eyes
He stole my heart then crushed it into pieces
I picked up my shattered heart and placed it back into his hands
Still waiting for those eyes to come waltzing back into my dull colorless life
As if nothing ever happened
I’d always love him
Even when he stopped loving me
