Get in the weight room,
Lift, lift, lift.
Build strength and tone.
Run everyday,
Run until you can't feel your legs,
Can't feel anything.
Push it to the limit each time,
Agility and speed are key.
Eat healthy.
You need good food for energy.
Drink water or Gatorade,
Hydration is important if you Don't want to pass out
On those hot summer days.
Mental prep?
Always have your head in the game,
Be focused.
Come to practice ready to go,
How you practice is how you play,
Push yourself harder every day.
When it's game time, be physical,
Put your heart into the game,
No matter how much blood,sweat, or tears you shed,
You never stop, always push,
Leave everything you came with on that field.
Follow these steps and you will be successful,
You will be a true football player.

I like your lines, How you practice is how you play, Push yourself harder every day" because it is true in everything we do. Your point, "Put your heart into the game,

No matter how much blood,sweat, or tears you shed, You never stop, always push" reminds me that the only way I will be successful is if I work harder than most and don't complain about it.
