How to be a Musician
First, you need a beat.
anything from a drum beat
to a finger tapping on a table.
Next, you need an instrument.
A saxophone,
a piano,
a guitar,
or even your voice will do.
Now, find a tune.
If it's a popular tune,
good.
If it's a made-up tune
or an improvisation,
even better.
Finally, you start to play.
But, wait!
I forgot.
You need to feel the music.
You need to breathe with it,
move with it,
take it all in.
That's the mark of a true musician.
