Opposite Roads
Life has carved two opposite trails, we decipher
which direction to pursue,
one will lead to failure
but the other will stay true
to what we crave, all we deserve
no disuputes to slave about,
undying similarities, a bond we must preserve
a durable knot without a doubt,
secured by the hands of fate,
and approved by the stamp of love
an accidental encounter, an unknown playmate
but the sky it cries above,
two matching souls, three stumbling bodies
the choice still to be determined
though it should be clear, no more worries
for the approaching future, destiny gracefully crimsoned
as for the present, worries prevail, like flurries
of lost hope and uncertainty melting on your tongue
Can you taste the answer yet?
