I rather figure that out on my own instead of Stealing someone's identity.

I’m the girl that cares a little too much instead of just enough
 

I am the daughter of 2 dominicans
 

I am the fourth J
 

I was born and raised in New York State
 

I am the youngest of 4
 

I am my sisters pride and joy

Now, you ask me what I wanna be
 

I’ll say it proudly
 

I wanna be the person you can come to in your time of need,
 

The cousin they can look up to,
 

I wanna be the daughter my father comes back to,
 

I wanna be the person who I strive to be,
 

I wanna be the best that I can be.
 

But, there's a difference between want and will,
 

This i'll say slowly...
 

I will be the older sister my father's daughters look up to
 

I will be a high school graduate
 

I will be the best I can be
 

I will continue building my identity
 

I will be someone my family can be proud of
 

I will stay faithful to my religon
 

I will do these things because only one person can stop me
 

The only one who can tell me I can’t
 

Me, Myself, and I

But i’ll fight against that negativity and replace it with positivity
 

Because that's my identity.
 

And I will succeed.
