Delete Button
There's something about a delete button.
It's dramatized in movies. The unfollow, the unsubscribe.
It can completely cut someone out of your life, forever. No contact, no nothing. As if that person was never there.
But then again, doesn't it take more than just a button? It takes the determination to press the button and it takes time to come to terms with the fact that you can't talk to that person again because you know that as soon as you let them back into your life they think they can just hurt you all over again.
The goal is to cut the pain out of your life... right? But does removing that person get rid of the pain, or is that just avoiding it?
Because after all, it really is just a button.
