Meander MAG
This is the bend in the river bank
where the water breaks the land.
It’s stronger than it looks,
brought down mountains
where they stand.
It’s like the Grand Canyon,
water washed over it
making little dips
to show it was there.
Little by little –
layer by layer.
Fear turned to faith.
Hurt turned to hope.
Water brought down mountains,
storms taught it to cope.
Mountains made to rocks,
rocks made to sand,
into the river bank
to be brought to where it lands.
Step by step
collecting pieces to fill the gaps,
never knowing why –
to make it stronger perhaps.
Failure turned to forger.
Cracks turned to casualty.
Maybe washed down,
but its beauty you’ll see.
This is the bend in the river bank
where the water breaks the land.
It’s stronger than it looks,
brought down mountains
where they stand.
