Deception, like life’s creation,
Is inevitable, yet self controllable.
Longing answers to my burning questions.
While fighting back raging temptations.

These thoughts, so corrupt, are a constant flow.
Heart and mind battling for what to show.
Lie and tell me I’ll someday glow,
Sorry but my intentions are still to go.

I hope the reader of this poem will identify that things aren't always as they seem and sometimes, you really can't control what happens, such as family.

nice, though i think the rhyming got in the way of a few of the lines. I'm not sure what the last line meant - the "intentions are still to go." other than that, great job! :)
