Death of a Cupcake
They put me in a pan, ready to bake
I was a miserable little cake
The oven was a desert, and I started to rise
I wasn’t ready to be someone’s prize
The chef opened the door and I started my journey
Frosted as tall as a skyscraper, I looked quite quirky
They topped me with a jewel
Oh how I looked like a fool!
Smelling of pure sweetness
I was the thin woman’s weakness
She snatched me up to take a bite
But I wasn’t going down without a fight
I twisted and turned
But she wasn’t concerned
Her giant mouth opened, and I cried
This was the day the little cake died
