Too many people
So little time

To think about the future
And the meaning of life

The wars we keep on fighting

Will go on by and by

But the more we keep on fighting
The less we live, we die

The more we keep on spending
Our money on the war
The less we keep on spending
On what we’re fighting for

The grass is growing greener
In the cities by the sea

But the clouds are getting darker
For the birds atop the trees

The skies are full of windmills now
But it seems far too late

The best we can do now is hope

And contemplate our fate

Now we will fight to bring back

The sun to warm our skies
The winter snows, the apples grow
The rain, the leaves, the ice

A global revolution

For the fields and trees

To try and stop combustion

From bringing us to our knees
