Restless Mind
As I bask in the glory of the day,
I watch the sun's rays reflecting the lake.
I watch the sunrise, I stare in dismay.
My reflection had made my body ache.
The pain made me wonder of my death.
Tears came down my cheeks; I began to sing.
As I sang, it made me feel out of breath,
The need of screaming by the second sting.
Each sting made me feel weak. I closed my eyes,
Eternal dreams came along slowly.
My mind afloat, blue would sprout from the skies.
Thoughts caught and suspended in air wholly.
I followed the path, and I saw a light
And then I knew it would all be alright.
