The Last Day

The end was drawing closer and closer,
Nobody really knew the full extent,
Was always looking for the real answer,
What was the real reason for such torment?
All too sudden to truly realize,
So mysterious that no one can know,
Slowly plunging towards the true demise,
Yet in the end everything will still grow,
But some things truly can never regress,
The void left can never be completed,
And you can never even think to mess,
It is that which can never be treated,
And though the memory may always live on,
The loneliness must always move along.
