We were on the beach, little bugs were crawling by my feet.
We were on the beach, building sand castles from houses to the sea.
We were on the beach the giant waves swallowed me under.
We were on the beach, little holes in the sea sucked me down.
We were on the beach, when I got out of the sea the stinging sand blew against my bare legs.
We were on the beach, not anymore.

The author's comments:
I have gotten this poem published before and I want to see how other kids like it. I wrote it when I was in 4th grade and I had a phase where I would write poems every night expressing my feelings. I may put more up, but the other ones are very emotional to me.
