Anyone Can Run

Anyone can run

Only some can do it forever

Friends makes it more fun

Even in the big stormy weather

Water splashes down

The feel of freedom all over you

Free as a blood hound

Step by step running in the fresh dew

When the sun is bright

Jogging on the sidewalk all alone

With no one in sight

I focus and keep on my own tone

For when I am done

I will rest and relax and repeat

Anyone can run

Who can survive and beat every heat.

The author's comments:

I like running in cross country and track and the outdoors. This poem is saying anyone can run and do a dream through the enjoyment of doing it. Also Anyone can truly run it is just how far and fast you will go.
