I am a Golden Haired Girl that thinks a lot
I am a golden haired girl that thinks a lot
I wonder what my dogs would say if they could talk and how long forever is
I hear a delicate strum of a guitar spawned from my father’s creased fingers
I see the sun shining on those lovely forgotten faces
I want you to be ok
I am a golden haired girl that thinks a lot
I pretend that the future will be better
I feel the warm rays of a galactic ball of light embrace my tattered soul
I touch every key on an instrument expertly and artfully
I worry for the future
I cry for the inevitable hardships waiting for you and me in the crevices of tomorrow
I am a golden haired girl that thinks a lot
I understand the constant fear of the things that are beyond my control
I say that God is real
I dream of finding my dream
I try to look at life from every possible perspective even when my anger seems to consume me
I hope that one day we will realize power is man-made and artificial but kindness is real and authentic
I am a golden-haired girl that thinks a lot
