True heroism is not for superheroes,
Though they may be big and tall.
Heroism is found in the smallest of small,
Caught in unlikely places.
It reveals the most familiar faces.
Everyday heroes are the people around us,
Who set aside laziness for justice.
Whether they may be going to work everyday,
Or deciding what our families will eat when friends come over to stay,
True heroism is patience and kindness,
It's letting God decide who will stand trial for justice.
True heroism is found me and is found in you.
It determines what we will become,
And what we will do.
So look around at the faces in front of you
They might surprise you!
