Moving On
You said you'd never make me cry.
I'd be different this time.
Shouldn't I be used to your lies?
They said I'd find someone new.
Now I know that's true.
But my heart keeps telling me it's still in love with you.
Since my hearts slowing breaking
And I can't stop this aching,
It should probably move on to something a little less breathtaking.
I'm trying to get over you,
But it's incredibly hard to do.
For the last two years I've been nothing but loyal to you.
You lied and you cheated,
And I didn't want to see it
But the proof was there and I had no choice but to believe it.
We're done. We're over.
There's one thing left to say,
I'm moving on but in my heart you'll forever stay.
