From laughing until we cry
And sneaking out late nights
To all we say is lies
And late night fights
All I ask,
What happened to us?
Who are you now?
From silly jokes on each other
And hours of phone conversations
To ignoring one another
And awkward situations
All I ask,
What happened to us?
Who are you now?
From understanding each other without speaking
And being practically joined by the hip
To the secrets we tell start leaking
And our lives completely flip
All I ask,
Is why can't it be
Like it used to be?
