Dancing in the Rain

I will dance in the rain,
and through the pain.
Even if I am off beat,
I will dance to lift me off of my feet.
It will bring me confidence,
Like I have no limits, like I am bottomless.
I will dance through the heartbreak,
Even if my life feels like an earthquake.
I will dance to feel free,
The feeling that nobody can stop me.
I will dance to express a million thoughts,
Even if they're in my brain like knots.
In my life I will never miss a chance,
To get up and dance.
All throughout the pain,
And even in the rain.
