If I were to write another
I’d only write the facts
I’d rhyme and rhyme my heart out till’
My heart is not intact

I would not keep my head down I
Would spill out till’ it’s clean
I’d go and write my poetry
Like I’m some kind of fiend

These thoughts exist to be expressed
I will declare them free
You cannot keep them locked away
Despite obstacles seen

I told you hands would get them out
I’d write until I can’t
I’d write till’ I had two sore thumbs
But I’m done with this rant
