Orange,
Beautiful and bright,
But also things and feelings inside.
It is the smell on the breeze as the sun comes up,
The mindset of seeing a half-full cup.
It is the last easter egg at the end of the day,
The joy when mom says you have more time to play.
And it is promise of spring and colorful roses,
The freckles that dance on faces and noses.

For an assignment I had to write poetry and I've started to really enjoy it. I have always been drawn to very sensory rich poems and so I wanted to try and write on myself.
