I Watched Her Fall

I watched her fall.
I watched her hands give up and give in,
The instant look, considered a sin.
I watched her fall.
I watched as everything flew right by,
Everybody wondering "why-o-why?"
I watched her fall.
I watched her body wedge into a groove,
Unable to think, unable to move.
I watched her fall.
I watched many try, but all fail,
All just trying to reach the winded trial.
I watched her fall.
I watched her life slip away,
Wondering the words she couldn't say.
I watched her fall.
I watched them pound on her chest,
Everyone hoping for the very best.
I watched her fall.
I watched them force that final breathe,
Everyone realizing the result was death.
I watched her fall.
I watched as the light began to blind,
Everything and nothing on my mind.
I watched her fall.
I watched their faces show surprise,
In result, I began to rise.
I watched her fall.
I watched them all scream "NO!"
Then the truth, it started to show.
I watched her fall.
I watched them all point and shout,
All we could do was look in doubt.
I watched her fall.
I watched my hand move in blood,
Then it hit me, the truth a flood.
I watched me fall.
