For the kids whose dreams are deferred:
Dreams deferred by those who deem superior than you
Who told you you were nothing but worthless
Dreams deferred by society telling you
Telling you
your dreams are nothing but
And simply unacceptable
Fit a form they whisper to me
Their daring
White
Clothes
So white
Dreams deferred
For the kids whose dreams lay dying:
Dying
Dying
Dying just a little bit more
For the kids taking over society:
I wish you the best
A dream made
And for the kids:
Thank you one thousand times more
