As I begin to write and words flow from my pen,
I hope at this points your suicidal thoughts will come to an end.
Don't take the most precious gift that was given to you,
for you are ungrateful and negligent if you do.
The most precious gift of all is that of life,
something that should be loved, honored, cherished, and treated right.
You may be confronted with trials and tribulations,
stressed out from head to toe with mental frustrations.
Everything may seem to bother you,
but make wise decisions so that your mistakes won't haunt you.
Even though you may not see it, you're special deep down inside,
don't take your life away and leave your loved ones with feelings of subside.
I f you feel like you've taken just about all that you can bare,
seek immediate attention from someone that cares.
Confide in someone so that they can help you,
so that they won't feel responsible for the things that only you and God knew.
They can help you get rid of the pain that you're feeling inside,
and hopefully their love will save you this time.
I look up to God,
in the sky up above,
and pray that he'll eradicate your pain and replace it with love.
I hope that this poem guides you to do right,
so you will love, honor, and cherish and not take away your life.

The author's comments:
My life is indeed, the most precious gift that I have and will ever have. I encounter obstacles on a daily basis, but I've never thought of taking my life. I want people to realize that suicide should NEVER be an option. There are people who are willing to be confidants, if we'd only open up to them. I pray that this poems inspires some individual and haves and impact on their life. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
