when i see you i feel so excited
my heart starts to beat faster and faster
our eyes meet and i feel so delighted
around you all i can hear is laughter
i'm not really romantic but i've tried
with you by my side, i feel so lucky
all the bad in my life just starts to die
those dumb pet names you remember ducky?
is our love rare, a love one of a kind?
and i thank god for you coming my way
the perfect girl, you're always in my mind
then all of a sudden there you just lay
you never woke up, my only worst fear
grieving, crying wishing you were still here
