Gates of Heaven
As the wind blew fiercely,
she laid there silently.
Couldnt move,
couldn't speak,
she was too weak.
No one in sight,
too late at night.
Staring at the lace curtains,
she was more than certain,
they were the gates,
that awaited her.
No longer scared,
she was prepared.
Covered with a sheet,
her heart with no beat.
