In the mist of dawn lies something
A young deer is hurt, crying out for help
Like a lost soul in search of a cause.
In the mist of dawn a young man
Sits crying looking for a purpose
Looking for someone to love.
In the mist of dawn a baby
Is crying in the hopes that his mother will come
And feed his hungry soul.
In the mist of dawn I lie
Crying for help, looking for someone to love
And waiting for someone to feed my hungry soul.
