Drifting Through the Air
Golden, shining hair
Bright as a star
Crystal clear eyes
Grey as a storm afar
Cheeks soft and smooth
Pink as a rose's first bloom
Flashing teeth
As a smile lifts her gloom
Running through the rain,
Crying salty tears,
She loves all the wonder
Life has shown her through the years
Singing to children,
Laughing at their fun
She lifts my heart
The heart she has won
Kisses on my cheek,
Glances through the air
Little things she does
To show me her care
Being with her is wonder
And loving her is bliss
But having her love to hold
Is as a child's first kiss
