Ode to volleyball
It starts with a bump, set spike
The ball in play.
The ball is a spinning ball of fire,
That can not touch the ground.
The ball bounced back to the other team
Like a lightning strike.
After the ball drops 'crash'
You hear a smack and game on.
The ball goes high
Like a bird in the sky,
And you see the other team dice
As we try to keep the ball alive.
The ball falls on their side,
You hear a loud roar
And the other team is out the door
We cheered another winning score.
