The Hand of Forgiveness

By , Eugene, OR

Guilt hides in the corner
He knows what he did was wrong
But the candy looked so sweet
And he longed to taste it so

Chocolate stains Guilt’s teeth
His poor stomach is paying the price
When his mother finds out, she gives him a drink
And Guilt sighs at the hand of forgiveness
