Leaving for College
Saying goodbye to my family
Later this year in the fall,
Will be hard for me to do.
Before I leave, I will have to go to the mall

The leaves will be changing
Before I leave, I will have to go to the mall
My life will be aging
The leaves will be changing,
The air will be cold
My life will be aging
I will be living without being told
The air will be cold
My family will be sad
I will be living without being told
Now I am officially an undergrad

What inspired me to write this piece was me getting some acceptence letters to colleges and realizing that I will soon be leaving my family in the fall to go to college. Things will be changing and I will be experiencing them away from my home.
