Maybe it's the jump from friends to lovers
(they feared the fall)
Maybe there was too much pressure
(they were sick of it all)
Maybe they didn't want to risk it
(they feared losing their best friend)
Maybe it was bad timing
(they didn't want an end)
Maybe there wasn't a real reason
(they were scared of love)
But I've never seen so much love between two 'friends'.
