We're all alone,
We all need a home,
We have nowhere to go,
So what do we do?
We can look for answers for the rest of our lives;
But, livin' like this, we'll never survive.
Clicking play on this game every millennial's playin'.
The main objective is to find a safe haven.
The way we play won't hurt anyone;
But, I don't think it was meant to be fun.
It’s a treacherous road to this safe haven
A little risky but worth the risk takin'.
Unlike my people, I won't run from my fears,
'Cause picket signs in D.C won't hide all my tears.
Still, I'm part of that generation that's tryin' to maintain
A sense of innocence we can no longer claim.
It really is an amazing game;
Maybe it will bring us fame?
So, I'll play the game every millennial's playin';
And I'll join the cause to create a safe haven.
