Butterfly poem
January 25, 2017
I see a butterfly in the sky
I smile happily as it flies by
It lands upon my window sill
I approach it and it soon gets still
As I close in it flies away
I wish deep down that it could stay
Soon I slump down to the floor
And hear footsteps approach the door
